We Aren't Finished Yet

What an amazing Sunday we had on February 12th! At our called charge conference, our church voted 157-0 to move forward with our building program in spite of the cost being more then projected or hoped for, in spite of us having to borrow some of the funds, but, with a great vote of confidence in our Lord Jesus Christ and His ability to provide for all our needs, we are moving forward. Praise be to God!

It has been a long time a coming! Yet, our building committee took our time to make certain that we designed and will build the facility that we need now and the facility that will take us into the future. I hope by now you have become very familiar with the plans. I want to thank:

Our Building Committee — Mike DeHart, Kay Gibson, Gene Blevins, Joyce Henson, Stan Messinger, Kelly Chadick, and John Redd for their hard work. But we are not finished yet! We will be reviewing the construction to make certain it is built to our demands.
Your response to the Master's Plan Capital Campaign and so many of you who have already made generous gifts to our building fund over the past two years. Without your outpouring, our building could not happen. But we are not finished yet! We will continue to need your love and support and second mile giving as we move forward.
Your unanimous vote for us to move forward. The best days of Covenant lie ahead of us, as we focus not on a building, but on being the church Jesus needs us to be. We are not finished yet!

Here we are on the verge of Lent and Easter. Find our Lenten Schedule on our website, and avail yourself to the opportunity to grow spiritually during this season. God is not finished with us yet, either. Allow the resurrection power of Jesus truly transform us into His image. See you at worship and study, as the Lord molds us into His church we call Covenant.
