A LETTER FROM PASTOR JON
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
We have begun worshiping in our CCC at 10:00 a.m. All worshipers entering the CCC are asked to wear a mask, use hand sanitizer, and practice social distancing. Please be aware that we
are unable to offer a nursery at this time. If you are continuing to worship from home, we will
live-stream the 10:00 a.m. service. Please check the Covenant Facebook page and your Constant Contact email for any updates regarding in-person worship or any other changes.
If you know of any church members or attendees who do not use email or Facebook, please ask them to contact the church office so that we can provide them with all updates regarding reopening the church.
Covenant United Methodist Church is the place of “Covenant Love.” We are excited to be able to gather together in worship.
In the Resurrection Love of Jesus,
Jon E. Tellifero,
Church Office Protocol
The Church office has reopened on a limited basis. In an effort to keep all staff members and guests to the office safe and healthy, the following new procedures will be in place until further notice. In addition, these new protocols apply to all who enter the CCC including church members, persons with keys, and delivery personnel.
-The door to the CCC will be locked at all times. Everyone including staff members will enter the CCC through the glass double doors only. All guests are asked to ring the doorbell for entry.
-All guests including those working with our church ministries are asked to make an appointment before coming in by calling the church office at (337) 981-2088. Please leave a message if no one answers and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
-Anyone who enters the CCC will be asked to wear a mask and sanitize their hands.
-Per Jean Hunter, financial secretary, all reimbursement checks will be mailed at this time. Please include a current address on the appropriate expense voucher. Jean can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or concerns.
If you are experiencing symptoms or if you have been in contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19, please do not enter the church office. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping keep Covenant safe and healthy.
